THE WARNING SIGNS WERE ALREADY THERE.

USF hired an offensive coordinator after stops at Nebraska, Ohio State, Texas, NC State and a 20–18 head-coaching run at Coastal Carolina that ended with a firing.

THE BECK OFFENSE HAS ARRIVED

USF WON 19–9. THE OFFENSE STILL GOT HUMILIATED.

FIU outgained USF 381–208 inside Raymond James Stadium. Beck's offense managed 100 passing yards, one touchdown, 3.7 yards per play and 2.8 yards per rush. Three FIU turnovers handed USF 13 points. Without the defense repeatedly dragging the offense back onto dry land, this opener turns into a public disaster.

THE UCF SLEEPER AGENT THEORY

Tim Beck played football at UCF in 1985 and graduated from USF's hated rival in 1988. Decades later, South Florida handed a former Knight the keys to its offense.

Then came the evidence Bulls fans never wanted: 208 total yards against FIU, one offensive touchdown and 2.8 yards per rush. Actual spy? Of course not. Former Knight directing a 208-yard USF offense? Unfortunately, yes. If this is not sabotage, Beck is doing a remarkable impression of it.

1. Hawaii: posted, deleted, explained

Coastal's deleted December 2023 posts showed a shirtless Beck posing on a Hawaii beach with the dance team in matching teal bathing suits and mascot Chauncey. Beck called it a “very spontaneous event” and said deletion was “100 bazillion percent, all me.”
